Paul and Leslie Hartley
Founder of Structural Advantages Pty Ltd
Structural Advantages Gold Coast
Paul and Leslie founded Structural Advantages in 1996.
Paul has been in the financial services industry since 1972. He started out in the insurance industry and has worked in salary packaging for some years.
Paul saw the benefits of correct structuring of peoples financial positions some 14 years ago and decided to set up Structural Advantages to help clients in this way.
Since then the company has grown exponentially. Leslie helps with the day to day running of the business and is also a practicing psychologist.

Andrew has an extensive background in business, marketing, venture capital and financial services.
Andrew successfully built his own private business over a period of 6 years, which he sold prior to joining the Structural Financial Group.
Andrew also has over 6 years experience in the banking industry, and was formerly Manager, Marketing Communications for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Andrew holds a degree in economics (banking and finance, marketing), Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australia Institute of Management.

Sean Garvan

Sean has a diverse portfolio of business and management experience – ranging from Travel and Accommodation, Direct Marketing services for high-profile clients such as the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Vodafone, AAPT and Primus Telecom, and working as a Mortgage and Finance broker in the residential and commercial sectors.
Sean’s creative and entrepreneurial approach to business holds significant value for the Structural Advantages Group. This combined with his constant pursuit of “best practices” and innovative technologies to help improve the Group’s efficiency and productivity distinctly compliments the attributes of the rest of the Management Team.
Sean also oversees all finance-related activities within the Group and ensures clients’ expectations are not only met, but exceeded.

Peita Richards
Financial Planning Para Planner

Peita has over 15 years of financial services experience specialising in holistic Independent Financial Planning. Peita has gained her experience not only from Australia but also the United Kingdom having worked for PKF Financial Planning Pty Ltd as a Regional Administration Manager, providing management and technical compliance support to 10 financial advisers and managing a sales support team.
Peita’s role as a Para Planner focuses in providing professional & technical compliance support for the Structural Financial Group in respect to all areas within Financial Planning including investment strategies & reviews, superannuation & retirement planning, margin equity lending and wealth protection. Peita is committed to the financial planning industry, maintains a professional and strong work ethic together in providing our valued clients with exceptional & consistent client service.
Peita is currently undertaking her Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).

Andrew Coates

Andrew's background has been in establishing and growing his own very successful businesses in the I.T. Industry. This has put him in good stead to be able to empathise with our clients personal and financial circumstances. This leads him into being able to assist them achieve their personal and financial goals.
He specialises in helping clients restructure their financial positions so that they're able to create wealth using debt reduction strategies as a means to unlocking their accumulated equity. He also manages their cashflow needs on an ongoing basis to further improve their financial position.
Andrew has extensive first hand experience with this type of wealth creation strategy having personally been a client of the Structural Financial Group since 2001. This intimate knowlegde proves invaluable to his clients. |

Ruth Sprague
Administration and Reception
Ruth has over 30 years experience in the Banking and Finance sector, in which her career path was solidified by a long standing involvement with the Westpac Banking Corporation.
For the Structural Financial Group, Ruth represents a wealth of knowledge in the areas of administration, processing and operations.
Ruth is currently responsible for scheduling ongoing cashflow tracking appointments, providing backup support to the rest of the team, as well as assisting clients with any queries. Ruth also performs Personal Assistant duties for other members of staff.

Kerrie-Anne Bartho
Client Relationship Manager
Kerrie-Anne's passion is people. She thrives on human interaction and has the ability to communicate with people on many levels. This passion is reflected in her extensive experience in Travel and Tourism, Human Resources and Banking and Finance. Throughout her career, she has had extremely fulfilling roles with companies such as Westpac Banking Corporation and Travelex.
As part of the Structural Financial Group team, Kerrie-Anne is responsible for monitoring our clients' financial progress and reporting their results to them on a monthly basis. This is predominantly done face to face, not just over the phone or by mail, and our clients really appreciate this personal approach to a traditionally impersonal industry. |
